Fair Credit Reporting:

Arkansas' Credit Reporting Disclosure Act of 1989 (4-93-101 to 4-93-104) requires users of consumer reports to notify consumers in writing of any adverse action taken based on information contained in a consumer report from a consumer reporting agency.  The written notice must include a statement of the action taken, the name and address of the creditor, the name and address of the consumer reporting agency making the report, and the social security number of the consumer provided such has been given to the user or is contained in the consumer report.

In all other respect, Arkansas generally adopts the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act provided under 15 U.S.C. 1681-1681(u).
