 Collection Agency Licensing Requirements:

A person desiring to conduct a collection agency must comply with Arizona's licensing requirements prescribed under Title 32, Article 9, Sec. 32-1001, et seq., of the Arizona Revised Statutes.  The requirements include the submission of an application and financial statement, an application fee of $1,500, posting of a bond in an amount based on the gross annual income of the licensee for the preceding year with a minimum amount of $10,000, and a maximum bond amount of $35,000.and compliance with all regulations set forth in the statutory provisions.  Application and licensing information may be obtained from the Department of Banking
